Whiskers is looking for a committed adopter. He's a lap cat that seeks out love and affection frequently, but it's usually on his terms and often comes with a love bite. He LOVES to play and will do so by himself for hours. He takes long cat naps and usually sleeps belly up! If you’re looking for a feisty cat – with a bit of an attitude and tons of personality – who will follow you around the house and love you unconditionally (assuming there’s food), you have to meet Whiskers!
Whiskers has either a food allergy or IBS and needs a frozen raw diet, which costs $22 for a three week supply. He’s totally worth it, and it’s possible the problem will resolve with time or further medical testing.
He’s being fostered with three cats, two kids, and a large dog and does great with everyone. He does need room to roam and will not do well in an apartment. Whiskers is one year old, neutered, negative for Feline leukemia and FIV, and his vaccines are current.
Meet Millie! She's a beautiful, sweet, long haired kitty and needs a special home. Millie is six years old and was diagnosed with diabetes last year. She needs a different home because the dogs there are picking on her and it's been hard on her. She'd be best as an only cat but does live with one now and definitely no dogs. Millie gets insulin shots at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and doesn't mind them. Her insulin is between $82 to $98 (depending where you get it) every eight weeks. Checkups are needed every three to six months to check her numbers. Millie is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She likes to cuddle at night and hopes she can cuddle at your house with you!
Sarah has beautiful brown eyes that due to the detached retinas are dilated fully almost all the time. We believe based on her reactions to movement and bright light/shadow she has some level of basic light/dark sight, but nothing beyond that. While similar in color to her sisters Beka and Ruthie, she is a more medium grey all over with beautiful facial markings. She is friendly and likes ear rubs and chin rubs. She is understandably shy with new things, but usually warms up quickly to people, especially if there are treats involved! :) Sarah would love to be adopted with one of her sisters, they are kind of like seeing eye cats for her. Sarah was born 4-20-18, is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and tested for Feline leukemia/FIV. Blind kitties do very well in an indoor household. They know where the food and litterbox are after a few trials and once they know they layout of the house, you won't even know they are blind.
